A brunch tailgate is pretty easy to set up and can run the gamut from donuts and coffee to mimosas and eggs benedict. We usually go somewhere in the middle with breakfast casseroles, monkey bread, fruit, and well, mimosas. I tested this recipe last weekend and it was a hit at our house!
3-ingredient Sausage Bites
- 1 lb. sausage (pork)
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
- 2 packages crescent rolls (save yourself some stress and get the seamless dough)
- Brown and drain sausage. Blend in cream cheese until the cream cheese is melted.
- Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on a baking sheet. Leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges, add sausage and chees mixture.
- Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of the sausage mixture. Press the edges together to seal.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown.
- Cut into small squares and serve. (A pizza cutter makes it easy!)

Yummy!! As much as I want to try this, I hope we don't have any early games!
